The Makita DKP180 Planer has been developed with the same advantages as a mains planer with the freedom to move around the jobsite. A precision machined aluminium base allows for planing accuracy. V-groove on the base for easy chamfer cutting. There is also a foot on the base plate which protects the workpiece and blades from damage. The depth adjustment is precise with 0.1mm divisions.
Ergonomic handle with a rubberised soft grip for more comfort and control. There is lock-on button for continuous operation and reduced fatigue. Suitable for both left and right-handed use. Dust extraction port on the side with enhanced chip ejection.
